As part of the 30th anniversary celebration, Bungie will add a variety of aura-inspired weapons to Destiny 2. These weapons will be available to everyone, not just those who bought the 30th Anniversary Pack, and are visually inspired by some of the most famous weapons of the halo. The celebration was broadcast live today with a trailer celebrating the anniversary.

The new weapons cover a wide variety of categories, which means that everyone can use it. All players can use the BxR-55 Pulse Rifle, Half-Truths Sword, Retraced Path Trace Rifle, Wastelander M5 Shotgun and Pardon our Dust Grenade Launcher. All weapons are legendary weapons, making them rare but not as unique as the Exotic weapons of Destiny 2. In particular, this sword is inspired by the famous Haloenergy sword, a powerful melee weapon that long-term fans will be very familiar with.

The launch of these weapons was launched a day after the launch of the Halo Infinite event, and our review described them as "sometimes disappointingly safe." Although Halo has a mixed track record with the current developer 343 Industries, it is clear that the original developer Bungie still has a lot of respect and love for the series.

In addition to the halo-themed weapons, participants in the Destiny 2nd Anniversary event will also be able to obtain Forerunner Exotic Sidearm and participate in the new 6-person matchmaking mode Dares of Eternity. Players who purchase the 30th Anniversary Pack can play in the new three-person dungeon "Grass of Greed" and find more exclusive weapons and armors. The amount of new content should be enough for players to tide over the storm until the next major expansion of Destiny 2 is launched in February, "The Witch Queen."
